Time to vote...







OK....My cousin Jessica needs some help. She had these portraits of Caleb done, and now she has to decide which ones to get. Any votes?

Oh yeah...the one on the bottom is a teeny bit blurred...so it can't be blown up to the big portrait size. (that would've been my choice!)

We need some expert opinions....what do you think?

Perfect Peace

Just when life starts getting crazy and I feel pulled in so many directions, Jesus is always faithful to whisper "Peace, be still." A gentle reminder that HE is in control...HE holds the future...HE is all I need.

So I know these people...


...and their lives have changed a lot since this picture was taken. See how sweet and innocent they look? Don't believe it for a minute. These freaks grew up in theatre. They're planning to get together sometime soon...they just have to decide WHEN! And where....and what time.....and who's bringing what...and if they should play some games....and what movie they should watch. Karen wants to watch Napoleon Dynamite. She told me so. Jamie said that she wants me to supervise a craft for everyone. Jason wants to just sit and talk with everybody, and Shelley wants to play a nice, long game of Risk. Nathan Lycan wants to get there on time. Michelle wants to just sit quietly and observe. I want to make it through this thing alive.

These people make me tired.

Good thing I love them so much!

Back to Work


So John has gotten called to active duty again. He gets to go sit in Williamston* until hurricane Ophelia goes away. Hopefully he'll be back by the end of the week. Pray for his safety and that the hurricane will come and go without doing too much damage.

On a Roll...


...or NOT. Why is it that guys can't seem to change the roll of toilet paper? It takes two seconds. It's not even complicated. No, they just use the other roll almost completely up and then hope that some girl will come in and change it.
