OK...so I posted the same thing on both blogs. I'm excited about my cabinets. I also can't wait to cook in this kitchen! (you can see more pictures and the commentary on 7829 over there...)
After Katie and Justin's rehearsal dinner, the girls came back to our house for a little informal bachelorette party. When I say informal, I mean we sat around the kitchen table in gym shorts eating cheetos that turn your tongue green and smores that had been roasted over a flaming can of sterno. Sometimes it's the informal parties that are the most fun...Hannah makes a tasty treat:Rachael shows off her mega-smore:"Did the cheetos really turn my tongue green? Take a picture and let me see it!!!" Wow...we were up WAY too late if that was funny...
As I pulled into a parking space at the Food Lion, I looked up and saw what was in the space diagonally across from me. It reminded me of that Vince Gill song where he says "she might have took my car keys, but she forgot about my old John Deere."Only in FV...
Meet the new kitty. I picked him up from Rachael on Friday. Since he looks just like my other kitten, I'll just keep things simple and call him Frank. He will be staying in my bathroom when we're not home until I'm sure I can trust him to use his litterbox all the time. Oozey growls when she sees him. In other news, I have just two words to describe what we did on Saturday:
Labels: critters, movies
...yet still not as old as me...
I think I'll just go ahead and have this installed at the new house...
This is Rachael's bag of stuff. It has a reenacting shirt, the Menfreya book, and some other book in it. It's been in my kitchen for a few months now. It started out by the microwave, but Oozey kept getting in it, so we moved it to the chair. It's been there a week or so now. Every time Rachael comes over, she sees it, says she's taking it, then walks out without it. So Rach, here's what I propose: I'll trade you this bag for a baby kitty. Deal?
