going off
I have to get up early now. I've never been an early riser, but I have to be at work at 8:00. In the morning. I have a 35-40 minute drive (depending on traffic) and a 5-7 minute walk (depending on how many students are trudging along in front of me) from the parking deck to my office. That means I have to leave my house at 7:15. That means I have to get up at 6:40. *sigh*
I've never been one that could go on 6-7 hours of sleep. Maybe I need to start going to bed at 7:30...

You need to just move here, Carroll. Offices don't open until 9 at the earliest, and a lot of people work 10-7. It's really strange, but it fits my sleep schedule as well so I kind of like it.
Going a bit off-topic, good win in fantasy football! When y'all first signed me up last year I wasn't sure it would be that much fun, but if I keep winning I'm going to get addicted. I thought of this because I actually got up 15 minutes early Tuesday, sacrificing some of my precious sleep just so I could see if I won before I went to class! Go Turner!
Oh, the trials and tribulations! But the real question... is it worth it? How's the job!
Thanks J! It wasn't pretty, but a win is a win. Unless I find some help at RB, I'll be pressed to crack 100 in most games. Maybe I should change my name to "The Dark Knight Cupcakes"...
When your alarm goes off tomorrow... think of me. I have 6 am conference calls on Wednesdays! (good thing I can work from home...)
Carroll, do you know what I am doing at 6:40? I have been at school for 40 minutes already. I am getting ready for the kids. At 7:15 I am answering questions from my kids. School starts at 7:25, and at 8:00 we are into the lesson. Of course, we are done with our kids at 2:18 :)
I feel you pain Carroll! Caleb has to be at school by 8:oo. I just cannot get going in the mornings. It's all I can do to get Caleb & Lauren in the car and make it on time and I still have to put my makeup on after I get to work!
I get up around 5:30am. I don't pass go and I don't collect $200. And would someone PLEASE tell me what Carroll's new job is?
we know there's students involved...we can rule out traffic cop or she'd have to get up much earlier...same for bus driver or lunchroom lady; school nurse, perhaps?
She's a professor at State. Her class is Early American Sleeping Habits 101. Last week she gave a lecture on the joys of maintaining pillow contact until 1:00 p.m.
