two drives
Saturday was a busy day. I was waiting for Rachael to post the morning activities...but she's had two and a half days. We worked cows. She and John rode the horses and helped with the round up. I had the gator and Max. It went pretty well until half the herd broke away and ran across the pasture. We managed to get them all except a few mama cows (which we didn't need) and one bull calf. I guess he knew what was coming. Mike got promoted to "Steermaker". I hear he did very well...
I left after the roundup and Hannah and I drove to lovely, quaint Warrenton. NC. We drove around looking at the neat old houses, browsed through antique & junk shops, and had lunch at a great local diner. We even broke down and got pie for dessert. All in all a great day.
Still no official office at the new job. The landlord has cleaned most of the junk out of my soon-to-be office, but I won't have a computer or phone for another few days. It's just as well. I don't quite know enough about HSAs and HDHPs yet to be much good to anyone...

I want to go to Warrenton! We need to plan another junk/antique shopping outing again soon!
Not if my wallet has anything to say about it!
your wallet told me it wanted to go...
heehee, it told me too:)
Hey Lydia. Your husband called. He said to buy whatever you want! :)
sounds super fun! I miss cute NC towns!
This is way off topic, but I'm happy to see that we've finally made the "Moscow" spot into a giant 100+ dot. I've been checking your blog every other day forever, and it's finally paid off!
As you were.
Well, I did cows and then went to Johnny's. Beat that!
Carroll,
your soup was good!
glad you liked it...although it would have been REALLY good if the crab hadn't stuck to the bottom!
