Feliz Cinco de Mayo! In honor of the holiday, I will be making homemade salsa and fighting the urge to get Taco Bell for lunch.
OH - and don't forget that the Blood Mobile is tomorrow morning. Y'all call me if you want to be a hero and save someone's life...

I want some of Carrolls Salsa!! Yum!! I would totally come give some blood tomorrow but due to a small child growing inside of me, I don't think they would let me... Oh well.
Yeah, I would totally give blood as well, but I'm off the hook due to having had cerebral malaria once. In fact, I was advised a few years ago by a medical professional that if I even tried to give blood, knowing that I've had malaria, it's a criminal offense, like someone with HIV trying to give blood. Yikes!
I will come to your house and eat all of your salsa. Wait....I already did....
Odd unrelated note: one of the things you can't buy in England is salsa. You can find a version of salsa that tastes nasty and costs like 5 times as much, but you can't buy even something like the Food Lion Keg-O-Salsa. How are you supposed to make tacos without salsa? Very frustrating. We brought a keg over when we returned from Christmas, but it's almost out, and I don't know what we'd do if Jungle Camp weren't coming up.
