Must agree with Rich - 24 is far and away the better show (although this season is not as good). Interestingly, the UK imports a lot of US telly shows, so we could even watch 24 here if we had a satellite. As it is, one of the South African students is addicted, so he's bought a pirated DVD with this season's episodes on it. Not having watched a lot of Alias, I can't pass too much judgment, but you just have to give 24 a try sometime.

J,

If you want, I can bring my Alias episodes to the beach again...I think someone spent a few hours watching it last year...

It really is a good show!

I was a rabid Alias fan for the first two years or so. Then they started doing some really funky things with the people and plots that lost me. There was the whole psychotic mother thing and then there was something with a sister, was it? I bailed before the long lost bionic dog appeared or something just as ridiculous.

Thankfully, Jack has my back and Kiefer's signed up for another 3 years! Woo hoo!!! (Did anyone know that his parents were Donald Sutherland and Shirley Douglas? Probably. But did you know that his birth name is Kiefer William Frederick Dempsey George Rufus Sutherland? Probably not ;-)

Now I have to find some way to sneak out of the house to see The Sentinel (which opens tomorrow)...
